The Witch’s Wish Box
Whether you call it a manifestation box, an intention box, or a spell box, a witch’s witch box is a unique tool for solitary practice that should be in every witch’s altar supplies. Let’s explore how you can use this beautiful tool.
A Witch Box for Manifestation
Manifestation is the ability to bring something to reality through attraction, belief, and a little work, if we’re honest. You can manifest physical or intangible things through manifestation magick, and one of the best ways to do that is to write your desires down and place them in a witch’s wish box.
Add herbs or gemstones to the box to help with your manifestation, such as Lavender, Chamomile, Red Rose, Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Lepidolite, or Tiger’s Eye. These ingredients are perfect for manifestation and will help amplify your spells.
A Witch Box for Spell Reversals
Are you in a pinch? Add mirrors to the interior of your wish box, and it quickly becomes a box for mirror spells. Cleanse the mirrors, and do not look in them! Write the name of your enemy backward on a piece of paper. Add a personal item, graveyard dirt, baneful herbs, talismans, or a few nails to the box. Light a black, reversing, or hexing candle on top or near the box and work your magick. Bury the box, and don’t look back at it as you walk away.
A Witch Box for Gratitude
A much lighter option for using your witch’s wish box is to keep it on your altar or somewhere in your home where you can practice “micro-journaling.” Keep strips of paper or index cards next to your box. Write down things you're grateful for at the end of each day or when you have something to celebrate. Collect these strips of paper over time, and when the box is full, review all the blessings inside. Then start over for a long-term gratitude practice that continues to support you over the months and years.
A Witch Box for Intentions
Place personal items and handwritten spells in your wish box to make it a powerful tool for your intentions. For instance, you could add a lock of a loved one’s hair to the box for protection. You could store a few photos of your great-grandparents inside and make it a way to honor your ancestors. Small mementos or tokens can also find a safe place in your wish box.
The magick of a witch’s wish box lies in the witch who uses it. How would you use one?
Stay magickal,
