New Moon in Taurus- May 15, 2018

New Moon in Taurus- May 15, 2018

The sign of Taurus deals with the natural world, physicality, and values. Usually a new moon in an earth sign would bring stability into our lives, but this is no ordinary new moon. The following day on May 16th, planet Uranus becomes square Mars, bringing unexpected changes that may not be very pleasant, to put it lightly. This is still a favorable time to begin new projects and making a fresh start, just make sure you're not rushing into anything before you're ready!

Mars square Uranus could cause accidents or bring violence, however being that the new moon is in Taurus we can use compassion and generosity to provide support where it's needed. De-stabilization is not always comfortable, but at times it is necessary to move forward. You may not feel like starting anything new at this time, which is perfectly fine since things may be more hectic than usual. Just do whatever helps you to feel calm and centered.

Taurus has the motivation and work ethic to create success from a solid foundation. Hopefully you have a stable enough base to keep you steady now, as this new moon is more about preparing for changes to come. My advice is to use this time to shift your focus to what you can control, yourself. Improving your diet would be a good way to use Taurus energy to nourish yourself. Finding a balance will help greatly amidst any surprising changes, some of which are sure to be positive! Do not be impulsive, and instead remain grounded and open to receive the benefits from the new things that can enter your life now!

Be Well!
