New Moon in Libra- October 16, 2020

October 16th, the New Moon in Libra calls for an inner balance. A New Moon represents a time of reflecting on old goals and creating new ones! Libra has a habit of pleasing others for the sake of harmony, which can cause them to neglect their own needs. This serves as an example of why you should give as much attention to yourself as you do others.

The Libra New Moon is opposite a retrograde Mars, meaning there is a conflict of energy between these two opposing celestial bodies. As a result, you could easily overreact to small irritations and later regret your behavior. Aim to be diplomatic and fair-minded to avoid taking things too personally.

A New Moon phase is about connecting to your unseen thoughts and emotions, which can be uncomfortable if you don’t regularly self-reflect. But through facing your shadow self, you can embrace and forgive your faults, as well as appreciate all of your positive traits! When setting your New Moon intentions, write down at least one specific goal you are motivated to act on. Since Libra’s symbol is the scales of justice, you should first weigh the pros and cons of pursuing any opportunity before committing to it. Once you feel a renewed sense of peace, the choices you make will come from a balanced frame of mind!

Wishing you a harmonious New Moon in Libra!
