Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus- November 8, 2022
On November 8th, the most powerful Full Moon of the year comes in to shake things up. This Full Moon in Taurus is also a Total Lunar Eclipse, meaning the Sun, Earth, and Moon are in total alignment, and the Earth blocks the light to the Moon, turning the Moon blood-red in color. This is the last eclipse of the year, and it will last for about 90 minutes in the United States.
Eclipse energy can be chaotic, but every moon phase is present from the start to the finish of an eclipse. If you choose to work with this high energy, any magick is possible from cleansing to manifesting to setting new intentions. Just make sure to fully ground yourself before your spell and understand that because you are casting during an eclipse, things may not happen the way you want them to!
This Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus is not going to be an easy one- I won't sugarcoat it. This Full Moon is conjunct planet Uranus, which will add even more disruptive energy to the mix, though its energy is in the name of revolution and change. Paired with the eclipse, Mars Retrograde that is currently going on, AND the fact that we are in Scorpio season, this recipe leads to extremely heightened emotions, forced changes, stubbornness, and chaos. Sorry to remind everyone that this also happens to be Election Day for the midterms here in the US.
This moon could push you out of your comfort zone so that you can grow- emotionally, spiritually, or mentally. It could also shake up (and out) some drama that you no longer need in your life, reset an imbalance of power in your relationships, and help you purge self-limiting beliefs, bad habits, and things holding you back from fulfilling your destiny. If you are willing to accept this energy, things will go much more smoothly for you than if you fight this intensity and change.
