Full Moon in Cancer- December 22, 2018

Full Moon in Cancer- December 22, 2018

December 22nd is the last full moon of 2018! Full Moon in water sign Cancer heightens our emotional states as well as our intuition. We may be surprised at what triggers us more than usual during this time, but it's important to let out whatever we are feeling in the moment. Luckily, the sun in Capricorn is opposite this moon, and December 22nd is also the first day of Capricorn's season. This just means that Capricorn's masculine energy will help to balance out Cancer's feminine energy. With this combination of planetary aspects, there are sure to be some pleasant surprises that we can make the most of.

Since our intuitions will be stronger under this full moon, we can make decisions based on our initial gut feeling. Remain open to new possibilities that you may not have considered before. When we are in social settings we will feel more comfortable to show different aspects of our personalities. This helps us to deepen our connections with others or even form new relationships. This applies to our family life especially. Spending quality time with our loved ones during this holiday season is appropriate under this sensitive Cancer influence.

A willingness to change will allow us to better enjoy our time now, too. As much as the holidays can be a time of reconnecting, they can also create feelings of tension between people. Full moons always cause some kind of intensity, so be careful not to become overly emotional. Simply be aware and in touch with your feelings so that you don't become resentful for any unexpressed feelings. Do things that help you feel comfortable and secure, especially when you're at home. Relax by taking a long bath, listening to soothing music, or baking something homemade for you and others to enjoy.

Wishing you the best Full Moon in Cancer!  Happy Holidays!
