5 Unusual Ways to Use Your Crystals
Experienced crystal users know all about the typical uses of crystals and gemstones. Perhaps you’ve used them in meditation, at work, or in your bath. But what about working with for your cell phone, or as protection around your front and backyard? Here are five ways to use your crystals that are a little out of the ordinary.
1. Place Shungite on Your Cell Phone
Shungite contains antioxidants which makes it a powerful healing stone. It also protects the body from negative energy, including EMFs from electronics. While you might have thought to place shungite near your computer or television, consider placing a piece on your cell phone when it’s not in use. It will help minimize the effect of the electromagnetic field on your body.
2. Meditate with Quartz in Your Garden
Since crystals come from the earth, using them to help tap into Mother Earth’s power is a potent practice. Meditate on anything you’d like to manifest, such as general abundance, a new job, or your relationships. Hold the image in your mind and then visualize it traveling to your heart. Visualize the energy moving from your heart to your hands and into the crystal. Hold the crystal for a few minutes to program the intention into it. Then, plant your crystal in the garden and thank both it and Mother Earth for their help.
3. Amplify Your Intention with Crystal Points
Write your intention down on a piece of paper and place it on your altar. Place a crystal point on top of the paper to amplify the intention to the Universe. Use a rose quartz point for love and romance, an amethyst point to enhance spiritual guidance, intuition, and build trust, or try a red jasper point for motivation and willpower.
4. Bury Quartz Crystals for Protection
Another way to connect with the earth’s energy through crystals is to bury large quartz crystal points at the four corners of your house lot. Cleanse the crystals as you normally would, and program them with a protective intention. Bury each programmed and cleared crystal with the point up to enhance its protective properties.
5. Use Carnelian and Sodalite in the Kitchen
It’s common practice to place crystals in the bedroom, living room, and home office, but have you thought about placing them in your kitchen? Add carnelian to your counter near your cooking space for inspiration, creativity, and stamina. This is especially helpful when cooking a large meal for company. Carnelian placed on your cookbook shelf may help inspire more adventuresome culinary creations. Add a piece of sodalite to your table’s centerpiece for positive, harmonious conversations.
